Lightning is not the only cause of disruption, degradation and destruction of electronic circuits. ACT therefore provide a full range of protection and conditioning equipment to our customers specifications, thus offering 24 hours a day, 365 days per year protection for your network. ACT offer a range of protection utilising the Gas Discharge technology, via the use of hybrid devices, which provide the speed of solid state equipment, but the high value of protection required as a primary protection circuit for cables etc. against the effects of lightning and over-voltage.
ACT also have available a full range of solid state devices to protect your network from the potentially harmful voltages which pass into the exchange and consumer properties. This excessive voltage appears not only from the effects of lightning, but also from mains crossover, sneak currents and other induced transients.
The full range of products available in the protection range provide the necessary protection which may be currently lacking from the network. An excess of voltage may be breaking the network up from inside to out, eating away at the delicate circuitry of the modern network. The use of the ACT range will provide the level of protection specified by our customers, and as experienced by one CPE provider, a fault rate reduction of some 50%. Also available, full range of power products enabling single to three phase power conversion.
