We are a family owned and operated company with over 25 staff. Everyone has an important role and has a part in making the company successful.

ACT have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all types sheet metal and powder coating. Based in Kent we are ideally placed with fantastic transport links to the rest of the UK and Europe. With good quality machinery and skilled staff, there isn’t much we can’t produce. We work from your cad drawings or design and draw on your behalf from a sketch or a simple idea. We can even reverse engineer from samples if required.

Sheet metal manufacturing is more than just bashing a lump of steel in to shape, its now more than ever about the design and environmental impact it has. Working in numerous different industries, has given us the experience to understand your needs, but also, become more involved in the design and add to it. We have many ways of saving you money on your product and are always more than happy to do this. With our CNC equipment, you can be sure we are at the top of our game.

From one off samples to large scale production, ACT is the right company to help you succeed. Working with most types of metals and able to powder coat items up to 6M long, we have the capabilities. Investing in dual pulse welding technology has given us the edge on so many projects, especially non-ferrous materials such as Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

Our automated punching facility has full lights out running so can run 24hrs to make sure everything is to an agreed schedule. Modern CNC press brakes allow perfect folding each time with minimal setup. All of this under the one roof.

Our large customer base and experience means we have a great deal of knowledge in testing, such as Ingress Protection, Vibration, weight loading and impact. We can undertake this in-house in the first instance, then utilise a completely independent test house. This keeps the costs down and gives you and your clients, complete peace of mind.
